What a great product! The wheels were already affixed, the cart is a dream. It looks as if it will last forever.
My only complaint - and it's a personal thing - is that I tend to sigh heavily when I have to put something together. I try very hard never to buy anything with the words: some assembly required. There are no written instructions, only a diagram that resulted in my putting the pole together, finally figuring it out, and then doing it again - twice. And it may just be my eyes, but Lord love a duck, that is small print.
The cart, however, is wonderful - I like it so much I'm buying another one. (Hey, I KNOW how to do it now.)
EDITED: It's a year later (June, 2009) and I STILL love this thing. It's so sturdy and makes laundry easy.

I bought this to haul an entire load of folded laundry to the other end of the house. It rolls easily and was relatively easy to assemble. The top hanger didn't fit onto the cart quite as easily as the rest of the assemby, but by loosening the first screw, I finally got both of them in place.

[[ASIN:B000MAIPPU Whitney Design 7028 Commercial Chrome Laundry Cart and Hanger] I have put together two of these laundry carts and find them to be very sturdy and well made. If you get one, sort the screws first according to their length, then determine where they go. There are two tools provided, a flat open end wrench and an Allen wrench. You will need a rather large flat blade screw driver and that's all the tools required. This would be a great gift for Grandma if you assemble it for her. Anyone using a walker can use this basket instead, not limited for laundry, but also moving stacks of magazines, books, etc. A very useful cart.

This is a very well made laundry cart and hamper, and it should last a lifetime. The instructions are very good for putting it together, and it is well designed in that respect. I wish the wheels were a little bigger. But I am impressed with the overall quality.
