Easy To Make Disappear June 23, 2008 Verla12 56 out of 56 found this review helpful
I wanted a light weight dryer that I could easily remove once the clothes were dried because the best place to put it was right in the middle of my deck. I set it up so that it goes through the umbrella hole of my patio table into the umbrella weight below. It works great and you can use the table to fold the laundry on. No digging, no concrete. Simple, simple, simple.
It is so easy to set up and remove. For me, the light weight construction is a plus. Being able to remove and store it also keeps the lines clean. If it were permanently installed, you would probably have to clean the lines every time you used it.
I love using this product. I save $$$ on my energy bill, the laundry smells great- especially the sheets, and it is very satisfying to complete a chore the way my grandmother used to do it.
No tangles and easy up! March 11, 2008 Jo Ann Villalobos (Montebello, CA) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I was a little worried that this would be cumbersome to use... I planned to not leave this in place, but to put up and take down frequently...
To my surprise, this clothesline goes up easily and does not tangle at all! I used to be super careful taking it down, but have discovered that it is not needed... just slip it up and slip it down with no thought at all.
Better than I expected.

Sunline Umbrella Outdoor Clothes Dryer
I love my umbrella clothes dryer! It's lightweight yet durable, folds down and easily opens for use or can be removed completely when not needed. Also, mine is installed so it rotates for loading. The identical product at other sites was higher in cost.
Witney Outdoor Umbrella Dryer February 26, 2009 Marlin M. Peltz 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Once I had the hole dug, the concrete poured with the stand pipe installed and waited a day for the cement to set I was ready to try it out. Washed a load of clothes and found that hanging them was a breeze as the unit rotated I only had to stand in one spot to hang everything. The breeze in my back yard kept turning the unit so everything got it's fair share of the sunshine. Being a cool day in Florida everything was dry in three hours. Taking the items down was also easy and I found myself folding them as I took them down. All in all I would say it was a worthwhile investment. Anyone want a used electric dryer?
Great deal for the money September 22, 2009 B. Boyd (Orlando, FL USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this umbrella clothes dryer and Amazon shipped it promptly. I took the advice from a previous review and set it in an umbrella stand in my patio, which works great. Since we live in a neighborhood with a Homeowner Association that does not allow clothlines installed on a permanent basis I can easly remove the umbrella clothes dryer and bring it indoors when I am finished with the laundry.
You only need to be careful to not overload this clothes dryer. (Maybe if I would have installed it in the ground with the longer pipe that is provided it would not be an issue to balance it correctly.) Also, by spacing one load of towels or two loads of lighter clothes the clothes/towels will dry very quickly. We did have to tighten the cloth lines, but that was easy to do. Overall, I really like this product and it saves me from running my electric dryer, which makes this product pay for itself over time.
